Terry Gaines, CPAGeneral Manager, Turnkey

Terry Gaines joined First Rate in 2000, and in his current role as General Manager, Turnkey, he is responsible for overseeing the service to First Rate’s turnkey clients. His previous positions at First Rate include serving as General Manager of Managed Hosting Turnkey, leading our Business Development team, and running our Core Products group.

In addition to his role at First Rate, Gaines serves his community through leadership positions with the Arlington and National YMCA, the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the Miracle League DFW, and Leadership Arlington.

Prior to joining First Rate, Gaines was the chief financial officer for a number of companies, including INSpire Insurance Solutions, Inc.; Vectrix, Inc.; FLS, Inc.; and Richmond Petroleum, Inc. He participated in several acquisitions as well as private and public financings, and he was instrumental in an initial public offering. Also, Gaines served as the Vice President-Controller in the Fixed Income department for RBC Dain. Gaines started his career as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche.

Gaines graduated from Texas Tech University. He is also a certified public accountant.
